Frequently asked questions
How long does a records request take?
Typical turnaround is 1–2 business days.
Is there a fee?
No. Records requests are free.
Can you send a transcript directly to another school?
Yes. Give us the receiving school or organization, a contact name if you have one, and an email or mailing address, and we’ll send it there directly.
Will another school accept credits earned at Mountain Point Academy?
We’re a Cognia-accredited private school, and accreditation is what most receiving institutions look for first. Every school, district, and college makes its own decision about which credits it accepts, so we can’t decide that for them — but we can send whatever documentation they ask for. You can read more on our accreditation and certification page.
I’m currently enrolled. Do I use this page?
For day-to-day progress and grades, talk to your Academic Mentor first — that’s usually faster. Use this page when you need a formal record sent somewhere.
I’m a former student and I’m now an adult. Can I request my own records?
Yes. Once you’re 18, you can request your own records directly. We just need you to verify your name and date of birth. You must provide your PIN as well. This number was assigned upon enrollment and serves as an identity verification method.
