Mountain Point Academy provides the one-on-one support of a private school at a fraction of the cost. With our affordable class options, you are able to earn your diploma at your own pace, and oftentimes, more quickly than traditional brick-and-mortar schools. Since we are accredited, the diploma you earn through MPA will be recognized by colleges and employers all over the country.

Our online program is an excellent alternative or supplement to traditional homeschooling. Your student can still have the flexibility to do things they love during the day AND have time for schoolwork. This means more trips to the museum or park, and less time spent on down time at a brick-and-mortar school.
Our middle school curriculum is outlined in our Course Catalog. Seventh and eighth graders that have demonstrated readiness can also take 9th grade level electives and earn high school credit!

Credit recovery courses can provide a great way for you to retake previously completed or failed courses with the intent to boost your grade or overall GPA. They can be completed more quickly compared to a standard course, which allows you the flexibility to complete these courses at your own pace and your own time, even while dual enrolled at another school.
While enrolled in an MPA credit recovery course, you have the capability to test out of topics that you have already mastered, further customizing the course to your individual needs.
We recognize that you participate in many activities outside of school, such as dance, sports , music, or other extracurricular activities. MPA provides specialized interaction with Residential Treatment Centers, private schools, and other partnership groups to create an academic environment that allows counselors and academic coordinators to focus more on the overall health and recovery of the students.
By partnering with Mountain Point Academy, your group will have access to a full range of online courses starting at 6th grade and continuing up through 12th.
MPA can also offer credit for the work your students are already doing on site, such as teen living skills, therapy, physical education, or culinary arts.

Mountain Point Academy offers a full suite of test preparation courses. Each test starts with a placement exam to test your current knowledge base. Based on the placement exam results, your course is tailored to fit your exact needs. This allows you to focus your study efforts on the topics you are not as comfortable with and quickly skim over the material you already know.
Immediate in-course feedback allows you to quickly assess where you are at and gauge your level of preparation for your upcoming test.
GED prep courses are available for any student looking for that option. If you are unsure on whether you should complete a GED program or finish your high school diploma, speak to one of our counselors for guidance.
